Purpose

Reactivate, certify and link Venezuela's fruit chain —from nursery to shelf— with the market, agro-industry and logistics platform of the international market.

Territorial scope

Four hubs: Western Plains (Portuguesa – Barinas – Cojedes) · Central West (Lara – Yaracuy – Carabobo) · Andes and South of the Lake (Trujillo – Mérida – Zulia) · East (Monagas – Sucre – Anzoátegui).

Plan phases · 2026–2031

A preliminary preparation phase and five progressive phases, with verifiable milestones.

  1. Phase 0 · Months 0–6

    Preparation

    Legal and financial due diligence, binational investment vehicle, census of orchards, nurseries, packing houses and plants.

  2. Phase 1 · Months 6–12

    Enablement

    Admissibility requests to APHIS, registration of facilities with the FDA, phytosanitary protocols with INSAI and port agreements.

  3. Phase 2 · Months 12–24

    Rehabilitation

    Certified nurseries, orchard renewal, irrigation, packing houses, cold rooms and pulp plants; power and roads.

  4. Phase 3 · Months 24–30

    Pilot production

    Harvests from orchards in production, trial batches of fresh fruit and pulp, audits and traceability validation with the importer.

  5. Phase 4 · Months 30–48

    Sustained export

    Supply contracts with importers, retail and the juice industry; a regular reefer corridor.

  6. Phase 5 · Months 48–60

    Scale-up

    New plantations coming into production, new hubs and crops, a binational origin brand and other international markets.
